Many tributes have been sent to a 20-year-old man who died whilst trying to save the life of a 84 year old woman.

Ali, as well as Betty Walsh were stabbed in Brentford on Friday at around 8PM. Betty is currently being treated in hospital for her injuries, whilst Mr Ali sadly died from his injuries.

It is believed that Ali stabbed whilst attempting to save Betty from further harm, and he was prounounced dead on the scene on Friday evening.

Betty's condition has been described as serious, but not life threatening. Since the tragic event, a fundraising page has been able to raise around £40,000 in Ali's memory.

The fundraiser said: We lost a dear brother, the most caring, humble, funniest young man. (I) don't have a single memory of him without seeing his amazing smile."

37-year-old Norris Henry, of Brentford, has been charged with murder as well as attempted murder. He will face the judge at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on Monday.

Paul Moore, who witnessed the event, also claimed to have helped Betty after she was stabbed. He also added: "She is a lovely woman. I've known her more than 30 years. Everyone knows her."

He said that she had been walking home from a friends house, and ended up being stabbed in the back as she was walking.
