Big Narstie and His Mum Open Tenerife's First Jamaican Restaurant

Big Narstie and his mum have opened Tenerife's first ever Jamaican restaurant.

In an appreciation post made on instagram, the former N Double A rapper posted a picture with his mum standing at the entrance of his new restaurant and captioned; "If anyone said to me years to come me and my mum have first Jamaican restaurant in Tenerife I'd say your lying lol".

Nasties which is the official name of the restaurants serves all kinds of Jamaican dishes from Jerk chicken and chips to vegetable curry and rice and a £10 mummy's special which is only revealed upon request.

On top of his Narsties food joint, Big Narstie has a number of ventures on his bucket list. Speaking to the Guardian back in january he announced plans to also open a bar.

He added that he was doing all this because he was from poverty and wants to make a better life for his kids.

"I built the worlds' first CBD steam room, opened the first Jamaican restaurant in Tenerife, I'm about to open a bar. Because I come from poverty; I want to make sure my children have a better start than I did", he said.

Big shot to fame first as part of the grime crew N-Double-A, and later as a solo artist. His early EPs were met with much praise. In 2015, his collaboration with Craig David; When the Bassline Drops became a huge hit streaming more than 50m times on Spotify and Apple Music.

On top of his business ventures the British-Jamaican weed enthusiast continued to do what he does best; deliver Zest, Charm, Chaos, Mischief and Humour.
