The UK rap scene is ablaze with excitement as a heated rivalry has unfolded between two of its brightest stars: Central Cee and Aitch. The tension between the two escalated with the release of Central Cee's latest album, Can't Rush Greatness. On the track "5 Star", Central Cee took a thinly-veiled swipe at Aitch with the line: "I felt like a pr*ck when I went to the BRITs, they gave the award to a guy called Aitch." This pointed remark was quickly interpreted as a dig at Aitch's success at the 2023 BRIT Awards, where he took home the Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act trophy.

Not one to let the diss slide, Aitch wasted no time firing back with his diss track, "A Guy Called?" In the track, he challenges Central Cee’s credibility and accuses him of not writing his own lyrics. Aitch clapped back directly at Cee’s BRITs comment with the line: "Getting mad at the BRITs, there’s bare to be won... You got 100 man on your payroll stood at the BRITs, but none of them voted?"

But the Manchester born artist didn’t stop there. He accused Central Cee of harboring a racist past, referencing alleged old tweets: "Been racist since like '013. Why did you hide those tweets? You post some racist s**, everyone watch who you're championing." The accusation added a serious edge to the battle, prompting heated debates among fans.

Despite the intensity, Aitch also laced his response with humor, poking fun at Central Cee’s signature man-bun: "I ain't scared of a man with his hair in a bun." He then threw shade at Cee's relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Madeline Argy, with the line: "Madeline ain’t your ex, that’s your cousin, the resemblance." The comedic delivery of these lines had fans both laughing and stunned by Aitch's boldness.

One person wrote on our Instagram page: "Aitch cooked him n cench won’t reply cos he can’t spit," one person wrote. Another wrote: "Imagine dropping your album and then you get smoked the same day lol," a second added. But one Resident was just confused by the whole thing and defended Cee writing, "I don’t get this. In what world is this a diss. He just said he was uneasy because they gave Aitch the award and not him. don’t see an issue here."
