Chadwick Boseman's entire estate will be split between his widow Taylor Simone Ledward and his parents, Leroy and Carolyn.
The actor left behind $2.3 million (£1.9m) once taxes, funeral funds, legal funds and lawyer funds were subtracted from his accounts. The value of Boseman's estate was valued to be approximately $3,881,758 prior to the fees.
Chadwick Boseman passed away in 2020 after a four-year long battle with stage three colon cancer. The actor kept his condition private and the cancer eventually progressed to stage four before he unfortunately died on August 28th.The money will be split evenly between his widow Taylor Simone, 31 who was allegedly the one who requested that the money be shared between herself and her parents in law.
Taylor became responsible for settling his estate as the Black Panther star had died without creating a will aged just 43. The widow is set to receive $1.15m from his estate and the same amount will be given to his parents.Boseman and his wife had been together since 2016 but it was only confirmed that they were officially married after the actor's unfortunate passing. In a statement made by his family it said that Boseman 'died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.'Chadwick Boseman was much loved by fans across the world and his death impacted many black people in particular who felt inspired by his work especially in his role in the Black Panther.
