The grime artist, whose real name is Dylan Mills, appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court on Friday morning for the sentencing hearing. The 37-year-old has sentenced to wear an electronic tag for 24 weeks and has been given a 12-month restraining order.

This means that he will not be able to visit his ex-fiancee and will have to abide by an 8pm to 6am curfew for the next six months.

Upon sentencing Mr Mills, District Judge Polly Gledhill stated that "You showed no remorse for this matter. Further, as demonstrated in your report given to the probation officer you continued to place the blame on Ms Jones, the victim in this case."During his trail, Wimbledon Magistrates' Court heard how Mills exploded with anger after dropping off their daughter at Ms Jones' home in South London last June.

The jury heard how Mills had "barged" into the home, banged his head on a fridge three times while holding his son, began "screaming and shouting" and then pressed his forehead against his ex-fiancee before pushing her to the ground.

This incident caused so much noise that two neighbours of Ms Jones were alerted and called the police, a judge was told. The court heard that when officers arrived at the scene, Mills said he was the "aggressor".

However, the grime artist later gave a prepared statement in a police interview, where he he denied these allegations and claimed that he had been assaulted by Ms Jones.Following the guilty verdict, Mills would provide no comment to the press and smashed a photographer's camera outside court, however, no charges were brought against home.
