After a year following his failure to become United States President, Donald Trump is seeking for Presidency again in the 2024 elections.
45th President of America, Donald Trump, announced to his supporters that he would again be running for Presidency next elections in an hour-long speech at his Florida estate.
Trump stated - "In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States,"
The speech was long anticipated by the twice-impeached President's supporters with many gathering outside of his residency in anticipation of it.
A supporter or "MAGA patriots" as they refer to themselves stated- "Well, it needs to be made great again - but here's the thing, I don't support '24 or '22 - I'm still stuck on 2020,".
He continued - "There was honestly kinda some disappointment when he said he was running for 2024, and I understand that - because we gotta fix 2020 first, we really do. We can't just brush it under the rug."
If the former President were to be elected he would be the second President to successfully win two non-consecutive terms.
Trump would also need to account for the tail end of his presidency following the January 6th 2021 attack on the US capitol.
The news saw on January 6, 2021, just after the-U.S. Following President Donald Trump's defeat in the 2020 presidential election, a mob of his supporters attacked the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
The mob attempted to keep Trump in power by preventing a joint congressional session from counting the electoral votes to confirm President-elect Joe Biden's victory.
The attack which was said to be inspired by Trump saw millions of dollars worth of damage and saw the injury and even death of both police officers and rioters alike.
Not only would the hopeful president have to account for the actions of the night but such will also leave a taint on voters.
