Drill Rappers; Suspect & Swavey AGB Extradited to the UK From Kenya To Face Murder Charges

U.K drill rappers Suspect AGB and Swavey AGB have reportedly arrived back in the U.K after extradition from Kenya.

The two identified as Mohamud Siyad Abdihakim,24, and Tariq Kennedy Mangal, 21, were arrested by Transnational and Organized Crimes detectives in Kilimani, Nairobi following intelligence leads.

They were members of the North London Drill crew Active Gxng and were prime suspects for the murder of a 16-year-old back in August 2019.

Kenyan law enforcement released a statement on Monday (31st Jan) confirming the extradition.

"Murder Fugitives Wanted in the U.K Finally Extradited," DCI Kenya, (the country's Investigative body) wrote on Twitter.

"The two murder fugitives were arrested by detectives last Wednesday, and have finally been extradited to face trial in the U.K.", the statement added.

The Kenyan Directorate of investigations went on to state that the arrests were made in connection with the murder of 16year old Alex Smith, from London.

The met believes that one of the two arrested fugitives carried out the actual stabbing, while the other one was driving one of the stolen cars.

The two rappers hid in the upmarket suburbs of Nairobi to avoid detention in the U.K. One of the rappers, Tariq was in possession of a fake Somali ID and a dagger at the time of the arrest.

After their arrest, Suspect's management team posted a statement on his Instagram asking fans to push his "suspicious activity" album due for release in February whilst claiming innocence.

"As we all know suspect is innocent and will be back in due time but in the meantime, we need fans to push the album", the statement read.

Suspect had continued releasing music from an unknown location with his latest freestyle dropping on GRM daily back in December last year.
