A Premier League football player has reportedly been 'kicked out by his wife' after spending £55,000 on an escort he had 'fallen in love' with.The Sun has claimed that the unnamed player in question bombarded the female escort with messages and in return, he received 'smutty' images of her. The England player allegedly spent £35,000 in seven months so he could travel to see her whenever it was possible. He spent £20,000 on presents which included nights away at hotels and a necklace worth £2,500.

The player has an alleged history of spending time with multiple prostitutes and escorts and had promised to stop the habit. He broke his promise by seeing a blonde female escort whom he had spent a lot of his money on.When the escort and the footballer were not together, he sent her multiple text messages. The player's wife grew suspicious after she noticed a pattern of her husband continuing to arrive home late and smelling perfume on him. She described the perfume as smelling "rotten" and "flowery". His wife also noticed that he kept trying to hide his phone screen around her.

She detailed her suspicions to other wives and girlfriends from her husband's Premier League team on their WhatsApp group. While her husband was in the shower, she looked through his phone and discovered the various texts and images of the escort.The wife confronted her husband and he confessed to seeing the escort.

A vicious argument took place between the couple, resulting in the footballer being kicked out of the family home for a few days. His wife stayed with her parents.The player is reportedly on his final warning and has to stick to a condition of turning on location sharing on his Snapchat account so his wife knows his whereabouts at all times.A source told The Sun: "They had issues before, and she never believed he would cheat on her again. She was deeply hurt that he hired an escort and then fell in love with her. Pretty Woman this is not. She wants to walk away for good but is thinking of their family.
