EVRI Delivery Driver Caught Stealing Packages by TikToker

A TikToker documented the moment he discovered his Evri delivery driver stole his trainers.

The creator believed to be named Chaye decided to follow the delivery van after receiving the wrong pair of trainers in a Nike shoe box. It was then that he discovered that the driver's van was filled with opened parcels. The TikToker realised that the driver had been switching out the contents of people's packages and stealing some items for himself.

According to the victim, he could see his shoes through the window of the driver's van alongside other shoes and items the driver had decided to take for himself. The video was uploaded on June 16th which concluded with a police officer emptying the van and arresting the Evri driver. Through the footage shown, it was clear that the content creator was not the only victim to this driver's theft.

Evri delivery service were formerly known as Hermes but due to a significant amount of nightmare stories, the company decided to change their name in an aim to rebrand. The TikTok video was captioned:"First day back in the UK from holiday and already an incident occurs. @akidnamedlq ordered dunks from Nike."They were being delivered by Evri instead he got a pair of cheap trainers, probably worth around £30. So we go find the van."

"Police are called as the driver attempted to drive off and didn't want to give us the shoes he stole."The creator added more context to the story in the comments section of the video. It read:"This could have all been avoided. We just wanted what we paid for. He got defensive when we asked to see the dunk box in the back."He wouldn't give us what was ours and he attempted to drive off many times, so we held him until the police arrived."I'm glad we're able to share our story and spread awareness. This shouldn't happen to anyone. No one should ever feel the need to steal from others."
