Ghislaine Maxwell Prosecutors Say 'Sexualised' Photo of a Young Girl was Displayed Outside Epstein's Bedroom

Prosecutors in Ghislaine Maxwell's child sex-trafficking trial today in New York have said that a "sexually suggestive photograph of a very young girl" was displayed outside Jeffrey Epstein's bedroom at his Palm Beach mansion.

Jeffrey Epstein had committed suicide in jail in August 2019 when he was awaiting his own child sex-trafficking trial. Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend, was arrested in July 2020 in New Hampshire on child sex-trafficking charges. She denies all of them.

The information emerged when the prosecutors and defense argued over several photographs that might be presented as evidence in her court case. The images that were discussed were recovered during searches of Epstein's various homes. One image depicted a young girl pulling down her underwear, exposing her bottom.

The prosecution said that one of the photos "is the primary decoration outside the master bedroom that the defendant [Maxwell] shared with Mr Epstein". They continued: "In order to get into that room, you have to get by a sexually suggestive photograph of a very young girl. The fact that there is a sexualised photograph, of a clearly underaged female, is highly probative."

Some accusers of Epstein and Maxwell have claimed that they were sexually abused under the pretense of giving Epstein a massage. Other accusers alleged that they were abused with sex toys.

The trial continues.
