Super talented singer, Adele has addressed the latest concerns on her weight loss in her sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In the same rose garden in which Oprah Winfrey interviewed the Dutch and Duchess of Sussex, she had a sit-down interview with Adele who opened up about the criticisms she had received in regards to her rapid weight loss.
According to the songstress, after she parted ways with her husband Simon Konecki , she had to look for a way to control her anxiety. Picking up a new regime exercise was one of the ways of controlling her anxiety.
"I had the most terrifying anxiety attacks after I left my marriage'. The 33-year-old revealed that she was paralyzed and it seemed she didn't have the any control over her body.
The star added: "I had such trust with my trainer. And when I worked with him, I had less anxiety. I wasn't even bothered by my weight but by doing that, it helped me with a lot of things.
I'd have a set schedule, like a 9am workout and 1pm hike. It gave me good discipline."
After Oprah said some fans felt upset and abandoned when the singer lost weight, she admitted that she was ridiculed by some fans. She said: "I'm not shocked or even fazed by it because my body has been objectified my entire career. I'm either too big or too small; I'm either hot or I'm not.
"I was body positive then and I'm body positive now. It's not my job to validate how people feel about their bodies. I feel bad that it's made anyone feel horrible about themselves – but that's not my job. I'm trying to sort my own life out. I can't add another worry."
When asked about her relationship with Rich Paul, Adele said this is actually the first time she has loved herself enough and opened up to be in love. She finds Rich amazing."I could've easily gone down some dodgy paths, sort of self-destructive from being so overwhelmed by all of it. And he came in and he was stable, the most stable person I've ever had in my life up until that point.""He's just hilarious. Oh, he's so funny, he's hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he's very, very smart. It's quite incredible watching him do what he does.”
