Footballer, Jesse Lingard's watch has reportedly been stolen from his dressing room during a match.

The alleged theft took place on May 9 in West Ham's game against Everton, where they lost at London Stadium. Police have now confirmed an investigation in relation to a claim of theft at the stadium on May 9.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police are investigating a burglary at the London Stadium.

"It was reported that a watch was stolen from a changing room on the afternoon or evening of Sunday, May 9.

"There have been no arrests and enquiries continue."

According to the Sun, Jesse Lingard has a range of expensive watches, and a collection worth six figures.

A source told the newspaper: "Jesse was devastated, but nobody can believe it.

"It's completely unheard of for something to be stolen from inside the players" dressing rooms during a game." The ground is heavily patrolled by security, and there is also a heavy CCTV presence. The only people with access to the changing rooms are senior officials and players.Representatives close to Jesse Lingard have refused to comment on the ongoing enquiry at this current time.
