Katie Price has given a statement to police over claims that her ex-husband, Kieran Hayler, sexually assaulted an underage girl in 2016.
It is understood that Katie knows the woman who is the accuser against Kieran. She was an underage teenager at the time of the alleged incident.
Kieran denies the allegations brought forward against him. A spokesperson made a statement on his behalf and said: "Kieran is absolutely devastated by these untrue allegations and has requested to meet the investigating officer as soon as possible to clear his name. He is certain that these allegations are false and have been fabricated by a third party in an act of revenge. He will fight to clear his name and moreover for those responsible to be brought to justice."
Sussex Police, who are investigating the incident, have asked Kieran to voluntarily go to the police station next week for an interview. In a statement, they said: "We are investigating a report that in 2016 a woman was raped by an adult male known to her at a location in West Sussex. No arrest has been made. The woman is receiving support from specially trained officers."
Kieran's fiancee, Michelle Penticost, posted a cryptic message to Instagram which said that "normal people don't go around destroying other human beings". She also added a hashtag: "#restrainingorder".
