Krept and Sasha Ellese have announced their breakup via social media this morning, leaving many of their fans shocked at the news.

Krept took to Twitter to announce the news and said the following: "We feel like we was so public with you guys we thought we should let u guys know. But me and sash have been friends for a while now and amazing co parents to nals. Alot changed during lockdown and since having nals and we just became good friends. But we are all good etc"

"To be sure that there were no cheating assumptions made, Krept continued by saying:" (Ps I feel like some peoples assumptions would be that I did something lol no) but yeah we been friends for a minute and it's still love and good vibes, even celebrated valentines etc but we are only friends. We just felt we had to do this in private and give it time before we told u"

He then went on to post a story on his Instagram of him, Sasha and 8 month old Nala touching fists, making it clear that they are still very much a loving family despite the relationship ending between him and Sasha.The news has taken the internet by storm, and many have taken to the Borough comment section to speak of their shock.One resident said "Had to check the dates to make sure it wasn't an April fools joke. Was hoping for Nala 2.0"

Another commenter was in full support of their decision and said: "People don't realise this is actually healthy. Having a baby makes you realise things. It's not all negative. Of course, lockdown hasn't been easy. There's all the time in the world for romance. Better to work on yourselves and figure out what you want for your family for the time being"
