Rappers Lady Leshurr and Cardi B exchanged some tense words on Twitter recently after Leshurr tweeted that the US star owes a "likkle change" after she used both her idea and beat on her own song "Cheap Ass Weave". 

On a Lady Leshurr appreciation tweet celebrating the 7th anniversary of song Queen Speech 4, a Cardi B fan quote tweeted it with the words "Cheap ass weave", implying that Leshurr had taken Cardi's flow and not vice versa. It was here where the rapper took the opportunity to remind fans that she is actually owed something from Cardi for that song:"You mind asking Cardi if she can break me off a likkle change she used my beat/idea before her big break and is now a millionaire and I got paid.

"The tweet was brought to Cardi's B attention and she replied,"I made like 2 dollars of that song.you want the other dollar ?" Although fans thought Cardi had ultimately won the back forth, Lady Leshurr was not backing down as she responded,"Would b nice but tbh I just wanted my credit & it's mad I had to tweet banter 4 a response when I dm u years ago about it. I was cool wen I thought it was just YT cover but it's on streaming sites as 'cheap azz weave' nw & urs comes up b4 mine so yes dollar & credit pls".

Famous for her legendary "Queen Speech" series, the rapper's 4th and arguably most popular rendition caught the attention of fans for its catchy hook and originally daring chorus. The Birmingham born rapper, now 34, came to own her unique flow and one-take videography style. After releasing Queen's Speech 4 and gaining a lot of worldwide traction, New York rapper Cardi B, who was believe it or not only up-and-coming at the time, used the UK rapper's exact beat and chorus flow in her own version titled "Cheap Ass Weave." Cardi virtually substituted the words "Brush your Teeth" for "Cheap Ass Weave " in the hook of the song and even delivered it in the exact same way.

‍While Lady Leshurr's chorus was this: "I can't believe it, I can't believe the cheekSome girls wake up and don't even brush their teethThat's a dead ting, that's a bad breath tingHow could you talk my name and you ain't even brushed your teeth? Cardi B's was almost identical with this: " I can't believe it, this is insane. How can you talk about me when your weave is inside of the grave?(It's dead, bitch)I can't believe it. Or is it just me? But why all these bitches just walking the streets with some cheap ass weave."
