Football star Marcus Rashford is reportedly back with his childhood honey; Lucia Loi just 8 months after their breakup.

24-year-old Marcus split from his then-girlfriend of 8 years back in February last year citing "lockdown pressures"; with their break up being widely reported 3 months later.

However, Lucia has sparked speculation that they may have reconciled after she posted a mysterious snap of a tattooed hand touching her boot.

A source revealed to the Sun Newspaper that the two linked up shortly before Christmas after their "long deserved break".

"The break was good for their relationship as it offered them both space and assurance that they wanted to make this work moving forward", the source revealed.

Adding that: "They have been together since school so an opportunity to breathe and focus on themselves was important".

Lucia had also earlier been spotted getting into Rashford's car after Manchester United's loss to Wolves on Monday.

It was reported at the time of their split that despite them ending things, there was still hope that the school sweethearts might "reconcile" after some time apart.

Sources said the couple broke up amid "lockdown pressures", but still "loved and respect" each other. Therefore it comes as no surprise that the two lovebirds are back from their break.
