Marcus Rashford Engaged to Childhood Sweetheart Lucia Loi

Manchester United player Marcus Rashford and his childhood sweetheart Lucia Loi have become engaged after spending time together in Hollywood.Rashford went down on one knee and proposed to Loi as they toured celebrity hangouts in Los Angeles. The couple flew to the US after his football team, Manchester United, was beaten 1-0 by opponents Crystal Palace on the last day of the season.According to The Sun, the pair ate at celebrity seafood restaurant Catch LA, which serves oysters, jumbo shrimps, sauteed snapper and an £85 lobster.

They spent time together on the roof terrace with views of the Hollywood skyline. After dinner, they returned to their villa and Rashford then proposed to Loi where she immediately accepted.A source said: "They're over the moon. Marcus has been planning this for a while and wanted to make it special. They went out in LA for a romantic night together on Tuesday and he proposed. It was extremely romantic. They celebrated afterwards with a group of close friends — including his Manchester United teammate Jesse Lingard. "Rashford announced the news to his followers on Instagram by sharing a romantic photograph of him and his fiancee Loi kissing in front of a floral heart-shape display. They can be seen being surrounded by fireworks, candles and lots of flowers.
