Meghan Markle's father; Thomas Markle recently appeared on fox news to talk about his daughter and Grandchildren.
Speaking from his Mexico home, the 77 year old claimed that the couple have made "mistakes" in the way they have raised their two children; Archie and Lilibet.
He added that he would be petitioning the California courts for the right to see his grandchildren in the very near future.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to ask Her Majesty the Queen, the British family, the royal family, to allow Lily to receive her baptism and first christening at the Queen's church", he told the fox news reporter.
Adding that: "Archie and Lily are small children, they are not politics, they're not pawns, not part of the game; and they're also Royals. They're also entitled to the same rights as any other royal."
Mr, Markle has for a long time had a difficult relationship with his daughter. The situation even worsened when he struck a deal with a paparazzi photographer to stage photos.
Some sources even claim that they haven't spoken since and this is what Mr. Markle is worried about. He says, as a result of their strained relationship, he fears that he might never get to meet Archie, 2, or baby Lilibet.
Surprisingly, despite his tense situation with Meghan, he hasn't stopped criticising her family. While on Fox news he went on to say some strong wordsabout Prince Harry's recently announced memoir.
He suggested that "after three sessions with the psychiatrists and Oprah Winfrey", the Prince would not have too much more to tell.
The memoir which is set for release next year will, according to Prince Harry, be an "accurate and wholly truthful" account of his life.
"I'm writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become", he said while promoting the book.
"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story; the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned - I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think."
The book is expected to be released in late 2022 and will be published in print and digital formats.
In the UK, it will be published by Transworld; an imprint of Penguin Random House.
