MET POLICE OFFICER SET TO BE CHARGED WITH THE MURDER OF CHRIS KABA

A met police officer is set to be charged with murder, after he senselessly shot and killed Chris Kaba in south London last year.

Mr Kaba sadly died during a police operation where he was shot in Streatham Hill on 5 September 2022, he was in a dark Audi car, which came to a halt and was boxed in by police.

The officer who let off the firearm cannot be named for ‘legal reasons’, and is known to the public NX121 at this stage, and is going to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday-where he will be charged with murder.

The police watchdog have announced that both the officer and Mr Kaba's family were notified of the proceedings on Wednesday morning.
