U.K. YouTuber and social influencer, Nella Rose, has just been announced as the new co-host of the hit show on MTV, Catfish U.K.

Nella Rose is set to replace Julie Adenuga as one of the hosts for the hit-show Catfish UK,which is produced by MTV. Rose will be work alongside the long time co-host Oobah Butler.Currently, there is no official launch date for the new series. However, the new co-host has come onto Twitter and Instagram to celebrate the great news, commenting:

"ITS OFFICIAL! You are looking at the new host of #CATFISHUK, "To be a major part of one of my favourite shows just feels so surreal." Nella, initially rose to fame through creating YouTube content. She has managed to amass over 717,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 550,00 Instagram followers.The social media star's fans will likely be ecstatic that she is finally hitting their TV screens and getting the credit she deserves.

The series is based on the 2010 film Catfish. The film's concept would later be used to createCatfish: The TV Show which aired in the US two-years later.After the success of the original show, Catfish UK was created and aired in 2021. Like the show's American counterpart, it attempts to uncover people who are creating fake personal profiles to deceive people looking for love online.
