The killers of the late Crosslon Davis, aka 'Bis' have now been jailed for a minimum term of 28 years after their brutal and "heartless" attack on the 20 year old.Bis was killed on December 6 2019 whilst "defenceless and unarmed"

. He was chased, attacked and was stabbed 9 times until he eventually collapsed.Seven of the wounds were to Crosslon's back, which caused fatal injuries to his heart and lungs. After an analysis of mobile phone records, it was confirmed that Mr Davis arrived in Deptford Creek in the early hours of December 6. At the same time, Param and Morgan were in the same area.The pair allegedly was leaving the scene via a taxi, but the court was told that Mr Davis proceeds to attack the duo with a mallet.

This led both Param and Morgan to tell the driver to stop, and they jumped out with two other unidentified males and proceeded to chase Crosslon with knives and machetes.'Bis' was known as a prolific figure in the drill scene and was a member of the rap group 'Harlem Spartans'. On the day before the attack, Mr Davis was said to be recording a music video.After the trial, Jedaiah Param and Elijah Morgan were charged with murder as well as having a blade. The pair were not new to criminal offences and were on license at the time of Bis' murder.

Their previous crimes are also knife related.Judge Angela Rafferty QC referred to the killing as a "sustained and vicious attack".She said: "This was a savage murder of a defenceless man. He was hacked to death."

It is clear he had been shown no mercy whatsoever and he died in the street despite extensive efforts of emergency services to save his life."The Mother of Mr Davis, Vivienne Davis paid tribute to her late son and also had a message for the "cowards" who killed her son."He was intelligent and had the whole world in front of him, such a bright future cruelly cut short.In regards to his killers, she said: "These cowards pleading not guilty and causing us to have to go through this horrifically detailed trial on how they brutally and callously murdered my baby, refusing to acknowledge guilt or responsibility for their heinous crime, speaks for itself. "They have made me watch my son being killed around 15 times on the CCTV footage which was shown to the court."
