Residents, popular restaurant Turtle Bay are currently trending on Twitter after a picture surfaced of their interesting dish; which consists of rice, Jerk Chicken, rice and peas with a slice of watermelon. Diners can also have the dish with sweet plantain.

However, Some members of the Caribbean community were confused by this combo, and immediately started talking about it on social media. Many posted meme reactions to the meal combo strongly distancing themselves from the dish.

"Who invited watermelon to the plate", one user; @Wyardie reacted. Others referred to the dish as a "hate crime". A user by the name @JoeyRyanB posted the photo of the dish and captioned; Whoever runs @Turtlebayuk needs to be arrested because this is a hate crime.
