Primark are set to finally launch an online option for shopping through a new click-and-collect trail.

In 25 stores in the North West of England, shoppers will be offered 2,000 goods to choose from and purchase online.The fashion retailer recently relaunched their website but are still yet to allow shoppers to purchase online.The company are starting with children's products due to their "unfulfilled demand" as they believe this move will drive people to Primark stores.Primark owner AB Foods said:

"Our average-size stores are only able to stock a limited range and for these customers the number of options available to them will broadly double, increasing even more for customers of our small stores."This trial will enable us to provide more fashion, license and lifestyle products to more customers and more often. "The high street store has yet to confirm which stores the trial will be taking place at however have said the available products will include items of clothing, accessories and lifestyle products.An AB Foods statement said: "Our average size stores are only able to stock a limited range and for these customers the number of options available to them will broadly double, increasing even more for customers of our small stores.

"This trial will enable us to provide more fashion, license and lifestyle products to more customers and more often."The 25 Primark stores taking part will have dedicated collection areas in each outlet.The click-and-collect option will be free, and Primark will also allow free returns to any items taken back to the store.The company made it known that traffic to the new site has risen to 60%, and almost 15% of customers are checking stock levels in stores.Primark have also said that customers will soon also be able to create a wish list of clothes on the site so they can keep note of the outfits they want to eventually purchase.
