Rapper, Ambush has been sent to jail for "a crime he didn't commit" according to a post on his Instagram story.

The statement on his story said the following: "Due to circumstances out of his control Ambush has ended up in prison for a crime he didn't commit. If you wish to write to him to keep him in good spirits please do not hesitate to do so!"

The news comes after Ambush recorded police handcuffing him on his Instagram live last week (11 February).

The police wanted to question Ambush due to a friend of his being arrested, and Ambush didn't understand why he needed to be handcuffed and felt that the officers were acting unlawfully.It is not currently known if this event is related to his recent imprisonment.
