People on TikTok warn that postcode gang wars will be taking place on June 2nd at Burgess Park in Southwark, London

TikTokers are warning people to not attend Burgess Park in Southwark, London on June 2nd, due to threats of postcode gang wars.From Friday, 27 May, to Sunday, 5 June, family fun fairs are taking place in the park. However, many on social media are saying that June 2nd will be anything but family friendly.Taking to TikTok, Kayne Kawasaki said: "It's been circulating that on social media that large groups of young people are expected to turn up to Burgess Park on the 2nd of June.

"Some of the concerning videos on TikTok say things like, 'Rob or get robbed,' or 'say goodbye to your mum'."He then shared a selection of videos that warned people of what is alleged to happen on June 2nd at the Burgess Park.Another TikTok user shared messages that read: "Basically they are bringing a gang war to Burgess on the 2nd."People from all around are going with knives, guns and acid and they are planning to start a war with postcodes and make it worse than black heath."They added: "So please just don't go and warn anyone you know is going. Don't go please."

In another video, a girl can be seen lip syncing to the camera with the caption: "Whoever's going to Burgess Park on June 2nd, tell your parents you love them before you leave your house."Speaking to the people going to the event, one TikToker said: "I hope that you'll be safe because you're going to a war zone, you're going to a military war."
