UK rapper Dave, also known as Santan Dave, has never shied away from mentioning his Albanian childhood sweetheart, Besmira in his songs.

As we reported back in 2021, Dave opened up about why his relationship with Besmira came to an end in the song ‘Survivor’s Guilt’.

The lyrics written were:

“I fell in love with an Albanian, I know it's mad

We're not together, 'cause her family would hold us back

I saw the red flags, I wouldn't want my child to grow in that

Rum and Red Bull, it's a culture clash”.

The lyrics seemingly hint at their differing backgrounds and Besmira’s family being the doom of their relationship.

However, in a freestyle the rapper performed back in June, he drops the line:

"Happy wife is a happy life,

If you've got a good girl spoil her,

That's why I bought Besmira the Porsche, 130 Vow with a spoiler.”

However, this section of the verse was not included in the final cut and publication of the freestyle, which also saw Central Cee and others enjoying Dave's verse.

Could this mean a reunion between the two lovers took place?
