Rapper Sneakbo has received widespread support after posting to social media about his shocking detention during a recent trip to Sweden. The “Zim Zimma" artist claims that after he touched down in the Nordic country, he was not permitted to leave. Instead he was detained in very poor conditions for three days. The rapper had allegedly planned to shoot a music video and enjoy a holiday, but claims he was a victim of racial profiling.

Taking to Instagram, Sneakbo,real name Agassi Babatunde Odusina, wrote: “Please believe I’ve been locked up for 3 days in Sweden. As you all know, I’m a rapper not a criminal. They asked me: ‘What brings me to Sweeden?’ I said a holiday and a video shoot. They said ‘that’s not good enough, we can’t let you in.’ (Huuuuh since when? I always come here.”

Sneakbo then claims he was the victim of police brutality after they denied him clothes and almost broke his shoulder. “The racist police officers nearly broke my shoulder… my elbow is swollen. Called me a UK b****d while f***g  me up. All now I have not been arrested for no crime but they kept me in the police station for 32hrswith no clothes on (yes naked. skin out ) On the mattress on the floor ( I had to beg for a blanket.) Then they took me to an Immigration Centre for a day andhalf. They deported me back to the UK at 7:40pm on the 3rd day. They didn’t even allow me to make a phone call till I got to that immigration place… No1 knew where I was, them Swedish police are hella racist.”

Sneakbo also went on to state that during his detention he met people who had been in there for months, writing: “But anyway, thank God that’s over…. Some guys have been in there 7months, some 2 weeks, some 9 months not knowing when they are allowed to leave. Crazy, I’m OUTSIDE!" However, despite his treatment, Sneakbo does not want to pursue legal action, writing: "I would try sue them but I cba, (can't be ar*ed) it is what it is. But this is exactly how innocent people die in Police custody or get wrongfully convicted, they did me wrong… ON GOD!”

He also alleged that after his imprisonment, Swedish officials said he was free to come back, but has vowed never to return. “If I didn’t have a Britishpassport, I probably will still be stuck in that immigration place. On top of that, they said I’m allowed back to SWEDEN next time. F*** em all. FREEDOM IS PRICELESS… GOD FORBID any of us get wrongfully convicted or MURDERED in police CUSTODY. Stay Safe. They wasted my 3days but they are wasting some peoples lives.”

After The Shade Borough posted the story on our Instagram page, our Residents were furious with Sneakbo’s treatment. “He’s laughing but that’s so traumatic to go through. Hope he’s okay,” one person wrote. A second added: "Even in big 2024 they still want us to be slaves to them but when they come to our countries we treat them like kings." Some encouraged him to take it further, with one Resident writing: "No @sneakbo plz you need to sue and prevent and free our ppl who are locked up in there."
