ANDREW TATE ACCUSED OF 'S*XUAL ASSAULT AND BATTERY' BY EX-GIRLFRIEND

ANDREW TATE ACCUSED OF 'S*XUAL ASSAULT AND BATTERY' BY EX-GIRLFRIEND

One of the most controversial public figures of the last ten years, Andrew Tate, is facing his latest lawsuit from an ex-girlfriend who has accused him of sexual assault and battery.

Los Angeles-based model Brianna Stern, who dated the social media personality and businessman for 10-months, filed a lawsuit which claimed Tate attacked her at the Beverly Hills hotel in March. Stern is also seeking a restraining order against the the 38-year-old, alleging that he choked her, beat her on the top of her head and the side of her face, emotionally abused her (by labelling her his “property” among other things) and groomed her since the inception of their relationship which began in 2024 after she met Tate whilst in Romania for a modelling gig.

Tate is no stranger to allegations of this nature and has been called out for his mysoginist remarks since the beginning of his career. In 2016, he appeared on the reality series Big Brother UK, but was removed after it was revealed he was the suspect in an open rape investigation in the United Kingdom. Despite the investigation later being dropped, Tate has since racked up an inescapable number of similar allegations against him and has been attributed as one of the prime causes for the rise of misogyny amongst young men. This includes charges of trafficking minors, sexual intercourse with a minor and money laundering, which he faces alongside his brother Tristan Tate in Romania. The problematic pair, are also due to be extradited to the UK after the proceedings in Romania, after Bedfordshire police secured an arrest warrant for allegations of rape and human trafficking involving multiple British women.

Stern’s civil complaint, filed on Thursday in Superior Court in Los Angeles County, states:

“Tate began verbally degrading Plaintiff [Stern] as he routinely did – but this time it was much worse, more aggressive, and more violent. Tate then began to choke Plaintiff…

Eventually, Plaintiff began crying and begging for him to stop. He would not. Tate continued to choke Plaintiff, harder and harder, making Plaintiff nearly lose consciousness.”

The suit continues to allege that the former kick-boxer, who once said that women should “bear responsibility” for sexual assault, threatened to “kill” Stern if “she ever crossed him”. Stern's legal representative Tony Buzzbee is no stranger to high-profile cases but has recently sullied his reputation with his handling of the sexual assault case against music mogul Jay-Z. The celebrity lawyer, who has also represented several of P. Diddy’s alleged victims, is now facing lawsuits of his own after being sued in November by Jay-z for extortion.

Tate’s lawyer, Joseph McBride, who no doubt works overtime to keep up with the mounting allegations against him, said his client “firmly denies” the claims and accused Stern of a “blatant cash grab”.

In a statement, McBride said:

“We stand ready to defend Andrew fiercely in court, where the truth will expose this baseless scheme.”
