A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD DANIEL ANJORIN NAMED AS MURDERED VICTIM IN SWORD ATTACK

Police officers were called just before 7am yesterday, to Hainault, east London where a thirty six year old, Marcus Aurelio Ardunini Monzo was reported to have collided with a house in Thurlow Gardens. The suspect began his rampage by crashing a van into a house on Laing Close, hitting a thirty three year old man and then proceeded to attack him leaving him with a wound to his neck. Shortly after, the suspect then attacked a thirty five year old man in a nearby property leaving injuries to his arm before attacking Daniel.

It is reported that the suspect Mr Monzo armed with a sword then stabbed innocent people during a series of attacks, wounding four people, including two police officers. Although the injuries suffered by all four are not life-threatening, two individuals were hospitalised suffering “Horrifically serious Injuries”. Daniel was unfortunately stabbed on his way to Bancroft’s school in Woodford green however sadly passed at the Hospital shortly after arriving. Daniel will be remembered as a ‘“true scholar” with a “gentle character”.

Mr Monzo was arrested twenty two minutes after the first call to police, and was detained after being shot with a taser. He has been charged with the murder of Daniel Anjorin, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, and possession of a bladed article. He will appear at Barkingside Magistrates court on May 2nd.
