Get ready to kiss your evening plans goodbye once again – Love Island: All Stars is back! Presenter Maya Jama is returning to the South African villa to guide a fresh batch of fan-favorite ex-islanders as they search for a second chance at love. Last year’s season saw Molly Smith and Tom Clare crowned champions, walking away with a jaw-dropping £50,000 prize. Now, ITV has unveiled the sizzling lineup for the upcoming series, promising drama, romance, and plenty of surprises.
This year’s roster includes series five’s charmer -professional dancer Curtis Pritchard, alongside series three’s fitness queen Gabby Allen, series four’s Kaz Crossley, and Nas Majeed from series six. Kaz Crossley’s return to TV marks a significant milestone since she made headlines earlier this year. The 29-year-old was detained in the UAE after a leaked video from 2020 appeared to show her taking drugs while in Dubai. Posting on Instagram, Kaz revealed she was arrested during a layover in Abu Dhabi last February and spent five days in custody. Taking "full accountability" for her actions, she now sees the villa as a fresh start.
"I'm even more mature now, so I'm ready to find a relationship," Kaz shares. "It’ll be nice to mingle with people from different series, especially as series four was so long ago now." But that’s not all—Gabby’s ex, Blazin’ Squad alum Marcel Somerville, is also stepping back into the villa, setting the stage for some drama. The pair met on their season, but soon split after Gabby accused Marcel of cheating. In recent years, Marcel has married and had a son with influencer was Rebecca Vieira. But the pair are now understood to be divorcing after she was accused of cheating on him with a US Slim Jxmmi.
Series two’s Scott Thomas, series nine’s Olivia Hawkins, and Catherine Agbaje from series 10 are also set to make a comeback. While series 11, Ronnie Vint makes his debut in the All Stars spotlight, alongside series eight’s Luca Bish, remembered for his romance with Gemma Owen, daughter of football legend Michael Owen. The All Stars concept was introduced last year to reignite the show’s spark after viewership dipped. While the 2023 finale drew 1.3 million viewers—a far cry from the six-million-strong peak in 2019. Love Island: All Stars returns to ITV2 and ITVX from Monday.
