KANYE WEST LAUNCHES INTO SOCIAL MEDIA RANT AGAINST JAY-Z, BEYONCÉ, AND THEIR CHILDREN

Ye, the artist formally known as Kanye West, has ignited controversy once again after launching a social media tirade against his former mentor, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé’s seven-year-old twins. West, 47, spread rumors about the Texas Hold ‘Em singer’s use of in vitro fertilisation to conceive Rumi and Sir Carter while also questioning their cognitive development in an inflammatory post on X. The post was removed but later re-uploaded.

“Wait, has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids? They're r*******,” he tweeted Tuesday. “No, like literally, and this is why artificial insemination is such a blessing—having r******* children is a choice.” Early Wednesday morning, he re-uploaded the post with an additional statement: “If Twitter take my s**t down then so be it but I need y’all to know Jay-Z or nobody have no power over me.”

The rapper, already facing backlash for recent anti-Semitic, homophobic, and misogynistic remarks, continued his tirade by posting about Jay-Z and Beyoncé seven more times within 20 minutes. His comments came just hours after he was seen wearing a swastika chain alongside white supremacist Nick Fuentes. “Concerning the Jay-Z and Beyoncé tweet, n***** said I would regret it,” he wrote in his most recent post. “I regret taking it down… my Twitter is a one-way conversation.”

West and Jay-Z’s relationship has been rocky for years, despite initially working together in 2000 when West produced a track for Beanie Sigel, a signee under Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records. Their first major public fallout happened when Jay-Z and Beyoncé skipped West’s 2014 wedding to Kim Kardashian. In a 2018 interview with Charlamagne tha God, West admitted he was hurt by their absence.

In 2016, after Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, West publicly criticised Jay-Z for not being supportive. The following day, he was hospitalised for stress and exhaustion, reportedly suffering from hallucinations. Despite past tensions, Jay-Z referred to West as his “little brother” in a 2018 interview with David Letterman. Jay-Z then made a surprise appearance on Kanye West’s 2021 album Donda. He delivering a verse on the track in "Jail." In “Jail,” Jay-Z rapped: "This might be the return of The Throne" However, by 2022, West had reignited hostilities, even stating that Beyoncé should allow Jay-Z to cheat on her.

Before targeting Jay-Z and Beyoncé, West turned his ire toward rapper Playboi Carti, who was arrested for aggravated assault in 2023. West accused Carti of being violent toward women while making a disturbing self-comparison. “Carti beat women, I beat women, but everybody hate Diddy,” West tweeted Tuesday evening, referencing Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. West followed up with another tweet: “Make up sex be crazy after a big fight.”
