East London rapper Samuel Justin Jude Clarke, better known by his stage name Ghetts (Formerly Ghetto) recently sat down with ITV news and revealed that he donated the music video budget he had for his recent single 'Laps' to the Newham and Essex Beagles Athletics Club.
In October 'Laps' was the first new single released in two years by the London MC, which followed with an announcement of his new album which many of his fans patiently waited for.
Ghetts finally divulged the reason for the music video never came to fruition is because he decided to not shoot a video but instead give it to his local athletics club as its home to where he grew up in Newham.
The funds will will cover an annual membership for over 100+ young people to a club that once included star British athletes like Mo
Farah, Christine Ohuruogu and Daley Thompson.
During Ghetts sit down with ITV news anchor, Charlene White, the Grime MC also touched briefly on the injustice and humanitarian crisis which continues to take place in The Democratic Republic of Congo in order to raise more positive awareness.
