A 9-year-old boy has made an impeccable achievement, having his first full-length published.
Nathan Eze is a young author from Coventry who began drawing and writing stories when he was in nursery.
The avid writer described his publishing achievement as "amazing" as the meaningful book was released on his birthday which also happens to be World Book Day.
The book titled "Ruby, Don't Lie!" is about a young girl who makes a habit of telling lies and porkies to her parents, however, the wholesome message behind the story is to encourage children to be honest with their parents.
When discussing the importance of the book, which is illustrated by Henry Ezeokeke, Nathan expressed: "If you lie, and they realise, they might not trust you anymore,"
Nathan is no rookie when it comes to having his writing in the limelight, as his poems and short stories have been featured in magazines, anthologies, and even on the radio.
When discussing her son's talent, Nathan's mother Adeola Eze proudly said "he has the gift,"
"His love for writing came from reading a lot of books... reading is very important."
When choosing who to dress up as for World Book Day, Nathan expressed his interest in dressing up as the cheeky CITV character Horrid Henry, stating that he is his favourite book character.
Nathan's inspirations range from famous children's author Roald Dahl to his own mother, who is also a published author.
Nathan told the BBC he loves Roald Dahl because he likes "how funny they make the stories".
He also revealed his ideas for his second book, which would be a sequel to his first release and titled "Ruby, Don't Be Naughty!"
Nathan's book can be purchased on Amazon, and we wish him well in his inevitable success as an author.
