BIG BROTHER VIEWERS SHOCKED AS FAN FAVOURITE TRISH IS EVICTED

Minutes before the eviction, housemate Chanelle was met with boos and jeers from the live audience, whilst Trish received an uproar of cheers, with fans even chanting “Trish to win!” However, despite the support from the live audience, Trish was evicted from the Big Brother house.

Following the announcement, presenter AJ Odudu can be heard saying “what?” in disbelief. Both inside the house and following her eviction, Trish has spoken out about her experience of microaggressions from her fellow housemates. She specifically highlighted key moments such as Chanelle feeling “scared” of Trish, as well as Tom labelling Trish as “aggressive”.

Host AJ also highlighted the microaggressions Trish has been facing on Big Brother: Late & Live, pointing out that Trish was called "aggressive" for defending Noky against Paul. AJ stated: “It is a shame… They do keep banging that drum, don't they? She said 'bully' one time, and how many times have they labelled her 'aggressive'?" I rest my case."

There has also been speculation as to whether a Facebook post made by Chanelle’s friends and family contributed to Trish’s eviction. Despite ITV’s rule that housemates’ social media accounts are to remain inactive throughout the show, this post was made on Chanelle’s Facebook prior to the eviction.

When asked why she thought she may have been evicted, Trish responded:

“I'm still a bit shocked because I thought everyone knew what's best for them," she joked. "I am a bit shocked, but there's a part of me that thought, you know, this is my third nomination."I kept saying if I was a viewer, and if I saw someone was nominated for the third time, even if I loved them, I'd started to think... this is the third time their mates are putting them up. Should I look at this a bit closely because it can't just be hating?"
