Zara Phythian and her husband, Victor Marke have been found guilty of a string of child sex charges after a 2-week trial.

21-year-old Hudson-Odoi has yet to make a competitive appearance for the senior England side under Gareth Southgate. However, the football player's switch will increase his chance of playing in this year's World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana has qualified for this year's tournament and will be playing in a group alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

While England are stacked in forward positions, the player's switch may still come as a blow to Southgate, who will now have a slightly smaller pool of players to choose from.

The switch to play for Ghana is predicted to make the citizens of Ghana very happy with the gain of young talent this year particularly in anticipation of the FIFA World Cup.A FIFA rule change in September 2020 allowed for players with three or less international caps to shift their allegiance to other nations if those caps were earned before they turned 21.According to experts, Hudson-Odoi has not yet managed to take the next step in his development at Chelsea Football Club. Fans are hoping that with his international allegiance settled, he can now "focus on getting his club career back on track."Hudson-Odoi has been out of action on the field for a number of weeks due to an injury and therefore may not be available for the rest of the season. It is still unknown whether or not he will play any role in the remaining Chelsea games this season.
