West London rapper Central Cee has secured his first ever number one spot in the UK charts with his 23 mixtape.
The 23 year old first peaked at number 2 with his debut Wild West last year. He now takes the number one spot amind intense competition from Tears For Fears and their album; The Tipping Point.
Central Cee's streaming success and strong physical support bagged him the top spot.
Since its release last Friday (February 25), 23 has proved popular with fans, evident in Cench's position in the mid-week charts. The mixtape contains fifteen songs, including the big singles "Cold Shoulder", "Khabib", "Retail Therapy" and "Obsessed With You".
The mixtapes comes as a follow up to Central Cee's debut, Wild West, which dropped last year and peaked at Number 2 in the UK Albums Chart.
Elsewhere in the Top 5, a new entry at Number 3, Avril Lavigne's Luv Sux has also made a strong debut.
