Chris Kaba's Rolex watch that he was wearing at the time of his death has not been located, according to his family
Chris Kaba's family have claimed that the Rolex watch he was wearing at the time of his death has gone missing. The 24 year old, who was unarmed, was shot dead by a police officer in September. Chris's cousin Jefferson Bosela, told The Mirror: "How could his watch go missing? I'm disgusted and gutted. It's almost quite surreal that we have to endure the fact that we lost Chris but also the fact that we're having to fight as well. It's just absolute disrespect. He continued: "As soon as it happened, as soon as we saw the footage we said, can we have his belongings? They said they'd give it to us, then afterwards they said they don't have the watch. It's a high-value watch. They said they don't have it, they can't locate it. I'm shocked and taken aback. "A spokesperson for the IOPC told the publication: "We are discussing this matter privately with his family."Chris had been driving an Audi in South Londonon September 5th when the police stopped the car. He sustained a gunshot wound to his head.IOPC lead investigator Dean Brown, said in a statement: "Officers continued to follow the Audi until 10.07pm. The officers did not activate their lights or sirens while following the vehicle. "
