The tension between UK rappers Central Cee and Aitch reached new heights last night as Cench and his crew appeared to take direct aim at the Manchester rapper during his headline show—in Aitch’s own hometown, no less. Fans in the crowd were quick to notice the digs aimed at Aitch throughout the night. Central Cee teasingly mimicked Aitch’s signature beat drops, while his mandem were reportedly asking, "Where’s Aitch?" on stage. The crowd fed off the energy, knowing full well the context behind the beef.
The back-and-forth started earlier this year when Aitch dropped a surprise diss track, calling out Cench by name and questioning his authenticity. Aitch didn’t hold back—accusing Central Cee of being a clout chaser, relying on ghostwriters, and even dragging his ex-girlfriend Madeline Argy into the diss. In the track, Aitch spit: "Not wrote one verse since '022, them ghostwriters made you a star (Trust)" and "We both know that you're Aitch-obsessed, I've been runnin' since your entrance (Skrrt)" He even challenged Cench directly with: "We can go bar for bar, BRIT for BRIT"—a bold move referencing Central Cee’s bars in ‘5 Star’, where he rapped: "I felt like a pr*ck when I went to the BRITs, they gave the award to a guy called Aitch."
After Aitch’s diss track made waves, Central Cee simply dropped a comment under Aitch's Instagram post: "fair enough," with added laughing emojis. After posting the videos from last night's Cench concert, our Residents were quick to comment their opinion on our Instagram page. One comment read, "nah man this ain’t it ur all legit millionaires these cosplaying as road guys." Another added, "Your a rapper, you dissed him on a song he buried you on a track and now your saying pull up? Get it the booth bro lol." A third chimed in, "They’re asking 17 year old fans where’s Aitch? I hope you all have a good Sunday."
