Kanye West's recent social media activity has sparked concern after the rapper opened up about a deeply personal and troubling experience from his childhood. The tweet was in reference to his upcoming track, "Cousins," in which the father of four released a music video for. In the tweet, Kanye shared a traumatic event involving his cousin, revealing that it served as the inspiration for his new song.
The Grammy winner recounted an alleged sexual encounter from his childhood and went on to draw a connection to later actions in his cousin’s life. The rapper wrote, “This song is called COUSINS,” explaining that the track tells the story of his cousin, who is currently serving a life sentence in prison for killing a pregnant woman. He also noted that this event came years after a conversation they had, where Kanye stated that they would no longer “look at dirty magazines together.” He then shockingly wrote, "Perhaps in my self centred mess, I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6, and then we acted out what we saw.”
Amid the growing controversy surrounding his tweet, Kanye West, also known as Ye, posted a photo with his wife, Bianca Censori, just hours after making his shocking claim about his childhood trauma. In the photo, Bianca posed in a revealing baby blue silk corset-style bodysuit, paired with thigh-high black leather boots. Her dark hair was styled in a loose, elegant updo. Kanye stood just behind her, dressed in a black hooded jacket and matching leather trousers.
The couple's choice of attire and the casual nature of the photo—simply captioned “fit pic”—seemed to contrast sharply with the serious and disturbing nature of Kanye’s earlier confession. Kanye and Bianca were recently spotted together in Spain at an Indian restaurant in the Balearic Islands. The couple was reportedly “giving their relationship another shot,” according to TMZ, following rumours of a rocky period after Bianca reportedly grew tired of Kanye's inflammatory tweets.
