Singer Emile Sande has announced that she is now in a relationship with a woman she met through music just after lockdown.

‍With an aim to learn more about classical music, Sande met a piano player who she claims is "the one for life" and she is "happier than ever"."We met through music, and I definitely feel happier than ever. It feels great."

"For me, true love and having love in your life makes everything fit into place." Emile had married long-time partner Adam in 2012 after dating for 10 years prior. However, they announced their split after two years of marriage in 2014.

Discussing the news, Sande explained:"If you don't really have someone to share it with or someone supporting you behind the scenes, it's very difficult, so now I feel very fulfilled: I'll always love music and I love my career but now it just feels that despite what happens, I can just enjoy life and be really happy. "When asked if this now meant that Emeli identifies as bisexual the singer responded:"I'm not sure what I identify as but I guess so. I just feel like I should fall in love with whoever I fall in love with. "Affirming the seriousness of the relationship, Emeli revealed that she has introduced her girlfriend to her parents in Aberdeenshire.
