FAR-RIGHT PROTESTS RIP THROUGH THE STREETS OF LONDON ON REMEMBERENCE DAY

Far-right counter-protesters, including Tommy Robinson and the English Defence League (EDL), have flooded the streets of London, in an attempt to “protect” the Cenotaph and mourn the ‘war dead’.

This comes after protestors announced they would be demonstrating in central London, demanding a ceasefire in the war against Palestine.

A series of footage is circulating on social media, including the anti-protesters’ bizarre attempts to “protect” the Cenotaph, by attempting to push past the police and barriers protecting the Cenotaph.

“Missiles” were also allegedly launched at police during the march.

Although EDL leader, Tommy Robinson, announced he'd be in the area at the time of the march, he urged his supporters to be “respectful”.

People have taken to X (Twitter) to blame Home Secretary Suella Braverman for the outbreak of violence, following her criticisms of policing, and her branding the pro-Palestinian protest a “hate march”.

London Mayer Sadiq Khan is amongst those holding Braverman accountable for her comments.
