Not all heroes wear capes it seems. An Islamaphobic man claiming to be an IDF soldier was confronted by two heroic bystanders after he allegedly ripped a young Muslim woman's hijab from her head at Whitechapel tube station in London.

The unidentified man was accused of assaulting a young Muslim woman at the tube station by allegedly ripping off her hijab, however, the man was quickly confronted by a brave woman who was understandably furious about the situation.

The woman, who was filming the man, first asked him to repeat a derogatory statement he had made, to which he replied: "Dirty fcking Muslims, they're being antisemitic..."

The woman interrupted his rant, saying: "You just assaulted a young girl" before calling the man "vile" and a "poor excuse for a human being".

‍

The man then retorted "And you're not?", further escalating the argument.

‍

In the background, a young Muslim woman could be seen being assisted by other women to reinstall her hijab.

‍

She went on to brand him as "disgusting", and informed him that she was a trained MMA fighter, implying that she was more than ready for a fight.

‍

However, the man took this opportunity to inform her that he was an IDF soldier, prompting the young woman to shout "I don't give two flying f*cks".

‍

The argument appeared to become physical as the man began moving closer to the woman, with her backing away and yelling "Don't touch me!", looking around for some form of security.

‍

Although a security guard attempted to de-escalate the confrontation, a tall man quickly stepped in to defend the woman.

‍

He intimidated the suspect by leaning in close to him, telling him to shut up and go away.

‍

The alleged soldier then quickly moved away from the bystanders, in which the video ended.

It has been reported that officers attended the scene, and a man was arrested for racially aggravated assault.
