JADA KINGDOM ADDRESSES STEFFLON DON OVER POTENTIAL LYRIC DISS?!

JADA KINGDOM ADDRESSES STEFFLON DON OVER POTENTIAL LYRIC DISS?!

It looks like celebrities are not wasting any time with the new year as Jamaican singer Jada Kingdom asks fellow musician and rival, Stefflon Don, whether some shady lyrics featured in a recent release were about her.

In the unreleased song that was teased by the London-based dancehall singer, Stefflon Don disses a woman who sells sex around the music industry, including with her man, and takes it a step further by threatening to slap/box her.

The two singers have some history, to say the least, with both women understood to have had a place next to possibly the finest bachelor in the industry, the 'African Giant' Burna Boy.

The afro-beat performer was dating UK’s very own Steff for a reported three years before things ended in 2021.

Just last year, rumours circulated that the Last Last singer had become close to dancehall artist, Jada.

Now, Jada’s raising her eyebrows at Steff’s recent lyrics, questioning on her Instagram story if the lyrics are aimed at her.

Jada tagged Stefflon Don in a message stating her curiosity about who the song is about.

As the lyrics say “TOP GYAL NEVER SELL PU**Y”, Jada seemingly couldn’t shake the thought that the song could be a sneak diss towards her.

On Sunday, the Jamaican-based singer posted a message which said, “Hey boo! mi nah run roun nuh bush wid yuh. anuh my style dat suh before mi gather yuh 3rd degree Jus mek mi know from NOW if a me yuh come fah this time or a still yuh manager yah chat bout again???”

When rumours circulated about Jada Kingdom and Burna Boy dating, Stefflon Don made a shady post that she later insisted was about her manager.

Now, Jada is questioning whether the woman discussed in the lyrics is also her manager, seemingly making fun of the previous explanation of the shade.

The line, “Fk my man gyal a box yuh fi get, tell a gyal say a dis mi a seh,” from the teaser track, clearly did not sit well with Jada, who later streamed herself live to talk about the situation further while addressing Stefflon Don and asking her who she was going to ‘box’.

“Me just wah know who ago get di box? Cause everything else a facts…cause my psy good,” Jada stated.

Jada went on to say that it was ‘weird’ for Stefflon Don to come at her over a man who was ‘for everybody’, explaining that she and Burna were only having fun and it was never a serious relationship.

She then told Steflon Don to address her directly if she was indeed talking about her, calling her song “weak.”

Jada continued by revealing that she received much more than a Birkin bag from the Afrobeats hitmaker, but Stefflon Don should not be mad since she got a car, and therefore “won.”
