Despite a performance that was praised highly by many viewers, Lady Leshurr failed to receive a golden ticket, which would have given her a guaranteed spot in the third week of the show.

She now has a week to practise for next week's skate-off. She will face the skater who finds themselves in a similar position next week.

Comedian, London Hughes made her views on Lady Leshur's positioning on the show very clear:

She said, "Erm lol I'm still fuming that Lady Leshurr was in the bottom two on Dancing on Ice by the way guys..just cos I'm in LA, don't think I'm not taking stock of the way Britain treats Black women in entertainment."

In the Borough comment section, her opinions received mixed responses. One resident was in support of her comments, and said "My girl moonwalked in ice!!! And still...came in bottom. I really hate it here."

Not everybody was in support of the comments, however. Another comment said "Not everything needs to be racially motivated! Black women have won shows voted by the British public! Maybe she just wasn't that good."
