A woman has died in the village of Jaywick, Essex, after being attacked by two dogs.
Police were called to Hillman Avenue just after 4pm on Saturday where they found the victim seriously injured.
Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the BBC, the two dogs have been "destroyed" as police continue to investigate the incident.
Although the breed of the dogs involved has not yet been confirmed, a man, aged 39, has been arrested under suspicion of dangerous dog offences.
This incident comes just days after the American XL Bully ban was put into full effect, however, police have urged the public not to speculate until the breed of the two dogs is revealed.
The police have appealed for anyone with information on the attack to contact police.
