A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape after an attack took place on Saturday 7th May, according to Dorset Police.
It's been reported that the 14-year-old boy was assaulted shortly after 8:30AM on Saturday in the public toilets at Bournemouth Pier.Following enquiries, a 51-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of carrying out the rape.
The investigation is still currently ongoing and is being led by detectives from Bournemouth CID. Specially trained officers are providing support to the boy and his family.
Detective Chief Inspector Ross Graham, of Bournemouth CID, said: "We are doing all we can to support the victim in this case and his family is being kept fully updated."We are carrying out a detailed investigation into this matter and our enquiries remain ongoing."
