Mason Greenwood Seen in Public for First Time since Rape Arrest

Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood has been spotted in public for the first time since he was arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault.

The 20-year-old football player was seen driving a black Mercedes in Cheshire while wearing a Corteiz balaclava on Thursday. Greenwood remains on bail pending further investigation after having been arrested on four charges: rape, assault, sexual assault and making threats to kill.

He was arrested on 30th January this year.Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that Greenwood's bail will expire on 30th April, at which point it could be extended. Manchester United suspended Greenwood from playing football after his arrest. He has not represented the club since a Premier League fixture against West Ham on 22nd January.Cadbury - one of United's sponsors - have confirmed they will not use Greenwood as part of any marketing campaigns or products associated with the club.

In a statement, Cadbury said: "Cadbury does not condone violence in any form. Our Partnership is with the Club itself and not the individual players. However, while these allegations are being investigated, any marketing or products we create with Manchester United will not feature this player. We will continue to monitor the situation closely."
