Former Love Islander, Maura Higgins reportedly sent Lucie Rose Donlan a bouquet of flowers and a teddy bear after Lucie had accused fellow contestant Yewande Biala of bullying her.

Lucie shared her gift with her followers via her Instagram story. She captioned the story by saying "Love you @maurahiggins. Miss you so much, just want to give you the biggest cuddle ever!"The timing of her gift is a controversial one, as Yewande has recently come out to deny the bullying claims, as well as speaking about Lucie refusing to say her first name.These claims were heavily backed by others who were in the Villa at the time, such as Amy Hart.

Winner of the series, Amber Rose Gill also defended Yewande's corner.

Lucie Rose Donlan has since come out and spoke to MailOnline in regards to her comments."These are really old comments dug up purely to incite a row between two females.

"In this day and age and with everything going on in the world, we should all be sticking together not attacking each other."I've been sent death threats which are incredibly scary as you can imagine."Maura has received much criticism for supporting Lucie in these circumstances. In the Borough comment section, one Resident said "Someone tell Maura she can get cancelled too"

Another Resident was not surprised by her actions and said "Not surprised, she said 'Bye Felicia' when Yewande left"
