Patsy Palmer shut down her Good Morning Britain interview this morning when she noticed the tagline "Addict to Wellness Guru".

The former Eastenders star said she was going to do a "Piers Morgan" when she noticed the tagline that described her journey in a light that she did not like.

She was on a Zoom Call from her home, based in Malibu California when the ordeal took place.

From the very start, Patsy did not look entirely comfortable. When her move was compared to that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, she went to take a closer look at the screen.

Susanna Reid was asking if she feels she has more privacy in California, to which Patsy replied "Yeah, I think I do" but went on to say: "You know what, actually, I don't even want to do this interview because I don't even want to look at what it says at the bottom of that screen.

"So, I'm just going to switch off and do a real Piers Morgan and just say, it's not OK to have 'from addict to wellness guru' on the bottom of the screen."

The reference to her being an addict comes from her 2007 autobiography "All Of Me" where she spoke about some issues with drugs and drinking. In the interview, she seemed surprised that this was referenced, as these issues "were talked about by me many, many years ago and it's over"

The Actress then went on to shut her laptop, which disconnected the Zoom call. The GMB hosts apologised and claimed that it was never their intention to upset her.

Later on, Patsy took to her Instagram story to address the situation and started off by saying she hadn't written a book for 20 years.

She went on to add that "people change" and that we should "stop trying to make people small and worthless".

Patsy also thanked everyone for their kind words since the short interview aired, and closed her rant by saying "Move on we are supposed to change!!! It's a human condition. Can't you see how controlled we all are!"
