POLICE LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR CLAPHAM ACID ATTACK SUSPECT

Police are still pursuing their manhunt for a man who attacked a mother, 31, and her two children, ages 3 and 8, with a corrosive substance.

The name of the suspect has been revealed to be Abdul Shokoor Ezedi, aged 35.

The attack injured a total of nine people and it is believed that Ezedi is known to the victims.

Ezedi was seen in a Tesco just 12 minutes prior to the attack and was last seen boarding the Victoria line tube from Kings Cross station at 9pm on Wednesday.

According to the BBC, Ezedi travelled from Newcastle to London in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

His car was then spotted in Tooting, South London at 6:30 AM, in Croyden at around 4:30 PM and then at 7 PM he was seen driving in Streatham.

Twenty five minutes later, he carried out the attack on Lessar Avenue in Clapham, before getting on a tube at Clapham South eight minutes later.

At 9 PM he is then seen getting a tube from King's Cross southbound on the Victoria line.
